Heléne Herholdt

Heléne’s journey towards becoming a health and nutrition expert began with a strong foundation in science. She earned her honours degree in Biochemistry at Stellenbosch University, delving deep into the intricate dynamics of progesterone and androgen receptor activity in breast cancer. Heléne further pursued a master’s degree in Genetics, investigating differentially expressed genes amongst post traumatic stress disorder patients and trauma exposed controls. Building on this scientific background, Heléne advanced her expertise through board certification in Functional Nutrition with the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy (IFNA). Passionate and dedicated, Heléne is driven by a purpose to empower individuals to take control of their health and unlock their full potential. She believes in addressing the root causes rather than merely treating the symptoms, ensuring a comprehensive and lasting approach to health and wellness. Heléne’s expertise extends to a wide range of health concerns, with a particular focus on hormonal health, gut health imbalances, mental well-being, lifestyle disorders (Diabetes, Cardiovascular disease and Metabolic syndrome) and fertility.
